A quick outfit post from my birthday. I Spent the day with my fiance shopping in manchester and leeds, turns out it was pretty much the only place in the country where it wasnt raining or snowing that day.
My sweatshirt was a present from the other half, i'd been after a bright green number for a while and this made the cut with its big M, first letter of my fiances name.
I'm still wearing these baggy leather numbers to death, there just too comfortable and their thickness makes it feel like your wearing thermals. Cant believe we are almost in april and still we have snow...spring where you at?!!

I'm thinking of changing my blog to a weather blog seen as i mention the weather in pretty much every single post i do.
So as standard...the weather here is abit erratic of late, one day sunny and mild next day freezing and numb.
Dressing is a little tricky, i've started to try and ditch my winter coats and stick to jackets and macs. I managed to make it through the winter without having to buy any boots which is a bonus...me and boots dont see eye to eye.
The heels i have on here are an early birthday present from my mum. A low heel perfect for shopping with a silver woven pointed front and contrasting black double ankle straps.
Zara are killing me with their shoes lately, far too many beautiful summer strappy numbers which is no good for someone trying to save.
I paired my new heels with some old blue ripped jeans which i have had since i was 17 , these are my 'miranda' jeans. I will pull these out in 20 years time and hopefully they will still fit!

Happy belated Valentines Day to all my readers, i hope you had a wonderful day whatever your relationship status may be. I got really into it this year, my new 'Fiancee' label made me feel like there was abit more of a reason to celebrate.

This outfit was a few days prior, another cold day which called for layers and winter pieces but i added some summer brights to keep it interesting.
This shirt was a sale find i picked up a couple of summers ago, i love the intense pink colour with the contrasting white buttons and theres a cute neon emblem on the cuff which is a nice touch.
So fashion week is in full swing, are any of you attending any shows this season? For me its just business as usual, i have a wedding to plan!
Word on the street is that the temperatures are set to rise slightly over the next week, hopefully coat season is nearly over.

Hello bloggers, apologies for my slowness on the blogging front. I have been extremley busy and maybe this time i have a reasonable excuse...im now a fiancee!!
I got engaged recently and we had a wonderful party last week which took months of planning.
These outfit pics were taken the day after the party and the first day wearing my engagement ring.
I'm wearing a printed wrapover shirt which i bought recently in the sales and just love. I have a pair of similar printed trousers and plan on pairing the two together in the summer months.
The perspex bag is my favourite high street piece of the year so far. After various designers included similar beauties in their collections the past few seasons i've been searching for a purse friendly alternative.Thankfully Zara put their thinking caps on and came up with this double whammy, perspex with a inner monochrome striped purse....genius!

A belated Happy Christmas and Happy New Year to all my readers!

I took a much needed time out over the festive period and didnt get out much to take any outfit posts so apologies for my blogging break.
But here we are in 2013, first post of the year!
I love the beginning of a new year, fresh start, clean slate and a new found sense of motivation. This year is gunna be a big one for me, i have alot going on but hopefully i can keep on blogging.

I wore this outfit on my anniversary which i spent relaxing with my boyfriend. The coat was a great sale find which i picked up for half the original price.
Blue has always been my colour, i have blogged before about being a pisces and feeling most like myself in it. The colbalt shade makes this a statement piece which meant i could keep the rest of my outfit simple with navy and clinical white to compliment.

Winter 2012 will stand out as the winter i went coat crazy! I picked up 6 in total but i also made some great investment buys like my 3.1 Phillip Lim mini pashli bag and Celine Trio Bag.
This year my aim is to buy less, refine my wardrobe and work with staple and investment pieces.
