..Following on from yesterdays post, an overdue outfit from my time in Milan.
With the weather in the late 20’s, most of my time there was spent in dresses and sleeveless numbers. A rare cloudy day meant i was able to wear this suit.
I love the bold stripe, it makes me think of vintage mens pyjamas, deck chairs and old style prison uniforms - hows that for inspiration!
I paired it with tan heels and a matching clutch to keep the look classic and added my boyfriends pocket square for abit of sartorial detail.
Wish i was back in Milan now for Fashion Week but i will settle for a trip to Venice with my boyfriend and parents next week.
It literally cant come quick enough.

...With Milan Fashion Week in full swing, i thought it fitting to continue my postcards from Italy series with this beautiful city.
This was my second time in Milan, we spent the few days we had here relaxing and chilling out. Milan is a buzzing city with endless shops and restaurants but my favourite past time in Milan is people watching.
Of course you have to see The Duomo in all its splendor and check out The Galleria Vittori Emanuele with its impressive ceiling but here are my other recommendations...
My favourite Gelato spots are Le Collone and Grom (Corso Di Porta Ticinese). Also on Corso Di Porta Ticinese is a great all you can eat Japanese restaurant Kazan. For 18 Euros you get unlimited sushi and japanese food made fresh as you order. It isnt like a normal buffet set up, its a small place with dark decor and it gets extremley busy. I just wish we had one of these at home!
When you get tired of shopping, if thats possible, make sure you spend some downtime in one of the cities great parks. We sunbathed in Giardini Pubblici which is a short walk from Quadrilatero d'oro (designer shopping area) when the weather is hot its a perfect spot to catch some rays away from the hustle and bustle.

...Sequins & Celine

Jumper - ZARA Mens
Sequin Pencil Skirt - H&M
Earrings - H&M
Heels - ZARA
Bag - Celine Trio

...An outfit post from the MaxMara event i attended on Tuesday.
I bought this skirt a couple of months back from H&M, the colour and sequins makes me think of Ariel from The Little Mermaid. I dressed it down with a slouchy mens jumper and added some irresdescent earrings for good measure. The earrings were originally longer but i took off a few of the links to tone them down, the great thing is i can keep adjusting them.
It was also the first time i wore my Celine bag, money well spent, i love her.

I would like to end this post by saying a special thank you to all my followers. Thank you for taking the time to stop by my blog and thank you for your wonderful comments, they never fail to make me smile :)

...MaxMara Does Outerwear

...Yesterday i had the privilege of being invited to Fenwick Newcastles MaxMara Event.

Showcasing a collection of strong outerwear from the brands Sportmax, Studio, Weekend and Main Line, it highlighted their ability to make more than just a mean camel coat.
My favourite pieces were an orange coat similar to the one worn by Audrey Hepburn in Breakfast At Tiffanys and an oversized belted coat in a brown check.
The show also drew attention to the change in seasons, i cant believe it's time to start stocking up on winter pieces, i'm still waiting for summer to kick in!

Special thanks to Anna Craig for making sure me and my boyfriend were well looked after.

Trio Bag - Celine - Light Burgandy

...After searching every store possible in London and Glasgow for weeks, i finally managed to lock this baby down in Edinburgh. I never imagined it would be so hard find but it seems the black and burgandy colours in The Trio Bag sell like hot cakes in the UK!
Yes a massive splurge, but an investment piece that will stay with me for many years. Despite the price tag, the Trio bag is very functional. Made up of three pouches which clip together, you can unclip them and use them as clutches so essentially you are getting two bags in one. I had originally talked myself into getting the black but with that sold out i settled for the Burgandy. Always a huge colour for Autumn Winter but also a favourite colour of mine, big smiles all round.
