...A couple of weeks ago i was invited to a special launch event for Newcastle's first exclusive clothing label 'Love Niche'. The brand has been created by the beautiful Nisha Vedhara, a former personal shopper and stylist.
Love Niche is a unique collection of evening wear and accessories with all pieces one of a kind or limited edition. Nisha also offers a bespoke service of made to order styles and her boutique in Newcastle features a highstreet collection of handpicked pieces from around Europe too.
The launch event took place at Vujon Restaurant in Newcastle which was the perfect setting.  Indian canapes and nibbles were on hand from the award winning chef Maunika Gowardhan and the collection was showcased like the brand in a very unique way. The catwalk show took place in an underground private street which we viewed comfortably through large bay windows and we were given a closer look with jewellery and further pieces displayed in the room around us.

The Love Niche Boutique Showroom is situated in Newcastle and you can find further info here -  www.love-niche.co.uk

...This week has been a rather hectic one, work is crazy with the festive period in full swing. It seems christmas is on steroids this year, i have never seen so many shoppers on the highstreet!
My day off this week was perfectly timed with the worst day of snow showers, i still managed to make it to the shops but shooting outfit pics was out of the question!
In the meantime i thought i would show you my new coat which i took off for my last outfit post. Again i bought a size bigger than usual for an oversized look which is working out perfectly in the cold weather, no squeezing over chunky knits necessary.

Leather Look Trousers - H&M Trend
Mini Pashli Bag - 3.1 Phillip Lim
Ankle Strap Heels - ZARA

...I think i should start off this post by saying, dont worry i didnt walk around like this, i took off my coat and freezed in the name of blogging!
I love winter fashion but i do get tired of hiding what i have on underneath sometimes.
This scuba top was too good to keep under wraps today so i froze for 5 minutes to get a couple of shots in.
I love the structured silhouette the top gives, it has pads on the shoulders and the panelling gives an illusion of shape. I paired it with my favourite trousers at the moment, yes you guessed it, the baggy leather numbers.
I will post further outfit pics soon with my coat on as its another recent purchase i am very fond of.

Beenie - H&M Mens
Combined Sleeve Leather Jacket - H&M Trend
Cropped Trousers - H&M Trend
Mini Pashli Tote Bag - 3.1 Phillip Lim
Pointed Heels - ZARA

...This may be the last time this year i brave cropped proportions and shoes without socks.
I hate it when it reaches that point in the winter where your feet just cant bear it anymore. I've never been much of a boot kind of girl so i will need to choose wisely when shopping for a pair. There are rumours of snow showing its cute but ugly face this weekend so i need to act fast. Any suggestions welcome.
This outfit is made up of some old numbers i almost forgot i had in my wardrobe. The leather jacket was a purchase i made this time last year and i havent wore it nearly enough. It has a drawstring waist which gives the option of a peplum but i went for the boxy look on this occasion. The trousers are also old but i love their warm shade of red which reminds me of my favourite coral Revlon lipstick and of course the festive season. Note to self - start Christmas shopping, immediatley!

...Those Trousers

Biker Jacket - ZARA
Roll Neck Jumper - H&M
Jumper - H&M Trend
Leather Look Trousers - H&M Trend
Bag - Celine Trio
Pointed Heels - ZARA

...Maybe i should have called this post 'An Ode To H&M' as right now i feel nothing but love for the brand. I have voiced my opinion on the Swedish retailer in various posts on here so i wont bore you with more soppiness. All i will say is that their 'Trend' collection just keeps getting better and i cant wait for their new luxury brand to launch 'And Other Stories'.
These trousers are perfection, they fit so well, are majorly comfortable and are a shameless Celine/Chloe rip off.
The weather is getting colder by the day and i am quite enjoying layering up. I am a sucker for a polo neck and have been wearing them under absolutley everything for extra warmth.
I wore this outfit on a day off work which was spent watching the new Twilight movie and relaxing with my beau -bliss.

Shirt - H&M Menswear
Sweatshirt - H&M Menswear
Necklaces - Market Stall
Pencil Skirt - New Look
Bag - H&M
Heels - ZARA

...With the silhouette of the season voluminous and oversized, i have been following suit and buying my clothes a little bigger.
You might recognise these shots if you picked up last weeks LOOK Magazine from the 'Work Your Basics' feature. I was given a leather pencil skirt to work into my wardrobe over 7 days and this is one of the looks i came up with.
This mens sweatshirt is a purchase i'm so glad i made, i found it months ago whilst doing a spot of competitive shopping. I layered it over a white shirt to smarten it up and added two jewelled necklaces for a ladylike contrast. I have been finding alot of great jewellery at the moment from market stalls and asian shops, it is much cheaper than buying on the highstreet.
Thank you to all my readers who bought the magazine and special thanks to the LOOK Magazine Team for the amazing feature.

...Baggy Trousers

Jewelled Jumper - 224 TwoTwoFour
Leather Look Trousers - H&M
Mini Pashli Tote Bag - 3.1 Phillip Lim
Pointed Heels - ZARA

...I picked up what are quite possibly the coolest trousers ever this week. Slightly 90s rap superstar, slightly Nsync, slightly Celine. It was only a matter of time before a high street brand produced a pair and i was hoping i could count on H&M to do it right. After making the huge mistake of not buying a black Topshop pair last winter i was so happy to stumble upon these bad boys. I bought them a few sizes bigger than i normally wear as i wanted them abit baggier, im just hoping they make them in black and a real leather version wouldnt hurt.

What do you guys think, are you sold or slightly disturbed?

Pyjama Suit - River Island
Bag - Celine Trio Bag
Heels - ZARA

…After dabbling with various pyjama inspired looks in the past i decided the trip to Venice would be the perfect time to commit.
You have no idea how many strange looks i got but on the plus it was the most comfortable sight seeing attire ever!
I love the fine details this suit has, the contrasting white trim, tassle trouser tie and the pocket embroidery all add to pyjama perfection.

This was the final day in Venice which was mainly spent picking up last minute souvenirs. Any coffee lovers planning a trip to Venice, i highly recommend 'Torrefazione Marchi' on Strada Nuovo in the Cannaregio neighbourhood. It is a small stand up bar and is the oldest coffee roaster in Venice dating back to the 1930s. Perfect stop off for an espresso power up but i mainly go to stock up on bags of the stuff to take home!

PVC Sandals - Missoni

Fall is in full swing, its November next week and christmas decorations are already starting to appear.
I am really enjoying autumn so far and have completley embraced the seasons warm colour palette…oranges, mustards, greens and beautiful burgandys are doing wonders for my wardrobe.

This outfit is a second post from my trip to Venice, this look i wore for a day trip to Verona - a beautiful romantic city with a laid back mediterranean feel.
Anyone visiting this city, make sure to stop by ‘Ristorante Milio’ it is literally the most amazing food i have ate in my life. You will find it on ‘Santa Anastasia’ and of course you have to stop by Juliets balcony and the bronze statue of juliet for good luck.

It was abit rainy and humid on this day so instead of wrestling with my hair i wore this colbalt blue mens beenie. The rest of the outfit was very ladylike with a nipped in waist, pencil skirt and jewelled necklaces so the beenie gave abit of colour and contrast.
The mini embroidered velvet bag is a favourite purchase of mine this season from ZARA, small and perfectly formed.

...Good Things

Peplum Top - H&M Trend
Trousers - H&M Trend
Trio Bag - Celine
Embroidered Slippers - M&S
Lipstick - Mac, Dark Side

...We all know the saying 'All good things come in pairs'
When H&M dropped these brocade numbers a few months back,  there was no question in my mind, i had to buy the set.
A beautiful rich jacquard fabric in metallic blue and black gives these pieces such a luxurious feel. I will be wearing the trousers to death with fluffy knitwear through the winter season but will also rock the peplum over polo necks with long leather gloves.
This is my first outfit post from my recent trip to Venice. The weather was glorious on day number one and we had ALOT of walking to do so heels were not an option. Instead i went with these embroidered slippers for total baroque overload and an old school Venetian vibe.
I was so comfortable and keeping my shoulders bare meant my pasty skin got to soak up the Italian sunshine. My Celine bag was a complete lifesaver on this trip, three pockets to store maps, guide books , sunglasses and the usual rubbish us women lug around every day.

Stay tuned for outfits from day 2 and 3.

...Fall Essentials

Coat - H&M
Roll Neck - Topshop
Belt - Vintage
Skirt - New Look
Bag - Celine
Heels - H&M

...Winter is round the corner and i havent been holding back when it comes to stocking up on the essentials. In the past few weeks i have been buying wisely, leather gloves, beenie hats, chunky knits and coats. Last year i struggled to find a winter coat, as soon as this bottle green number hit stores a few weeks back i knew i had to lock it down. The style is exactly what i have been looking for, straight cut with a double breast. The colour was a nice suprise as i was orginally looking for a staple colour like camel or black but i adore forest green its just so perfect for fall. Since buying this i have also managed to find a camel number so thats me pretty much stocked up now. Is there such thing as being too prepared?! Knowing my luck we will have a mild winter this year.
These images are from a shoot i worked on for a certain magazine feature, i will update you when it comes out and of course post further images from it on here.

...Flats For Fall

Shirt - ZARA Mens
Jumper - Thrifted
Skirt - H&M Trend
Bag - H&M Trend
Flatforms - H&M Divided

...Another look from before my trip to Italy, almost back on track with my posting now.
Still in the transitional period between the seasons has me mainly wearing a uniform of knits and pencil skirts. I find this to be the perfect combination during this stage, just the right amount of warmth whilst still making the most of bare leg weather. Today i stocked up on some winter essentials however, a beautiful winter coat, leather gloves, scarves and knitted hats.
I am bracing myself for a long harsh winter, i could be wrong but after this 'summer' i am not very hopeful.

Clutch Bag - ZARA
Heels - ZARA

...I'm now home from my trip to Italy. It was beyond perfect but as always too short!
I have alot of outfits to post, some from before my trip and of course the ones worn during. I will try my best to get them up on here ASAP.
The first, pictured above is a look i wore the first day the temperature dropped here in Newcastle. I went from wearing silk shirts and skirts to scrambling in my wardrobe for anything to keep me warm. Inspired by the Chloe AW12 collection, i opted for a chunky cream jumper which i borrowed from my mum and paired it with red trousers, lips and clutch bag. Of course i added some jewelled earrings, they seem to be becoming a trademark of mine these days. I love this H&M pair, perfect shape and colour - i only wish i'd had a chance to wear them with crisp whites and tanned skin. I'll have to save that image for next year, its almost time to start the Christmas countdown.

..Following on from yesterdays post, an overdue outfit from my time in Milan.
With the weather in the late 20’s, most of my time there was spent in dresses and sleeveless numbers. A rare cloudy day meant i was able to wear this suit.
I love the bold stripe, it makes me think of vintage mens pyjamas, deck chairs and old style prison uniforms - hows that for inspiration!
I paired it with tan heels and a matching clutch to keep the look classic and added my boyfriends pocket square for abit of sartorial detail.
Wish i was back in Milan now for Fashion Week but i will settle for a trip to Venice with my boyfriend and parents next week.
It literally cant come quick enough.
